RJS & Associates, Inc. “RJS” is a commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in sales, leasing, and development in Southeastern Virginia; however, most transactions are concentrated in the Greater Williamsburg Market. The brokerage offices are located in downtown Williamsburg, in an office building Mr. Singley Sr. developed in 2002.

Robert J. Singley
PRESIDENT & PRINCIPAL BROKER
The firm of RJS & Associates, Inc (RJS) is owned by Robert J. Singley, President and Principal Broker, who has over forty-three years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage and development. Mr. Singley received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware in 1972, and a Masters Degree in Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1976. Having been raised in James City County and active in commercial real estate in the Williamsburg area, Mr. Singley is thoroughly knowledgeable of the market.

Robert J. Singley, Jr.
VICE PRESIDENT & ASSOCIATE BROKER
In March 2000, Mr. Singley formed RJS with his eldest son, Robert J. Singley, Jr., to concentrate on commercial real estate brokerage with an emphasis in the Greater Williamsburg Market. Robert J. Singley Jr. graduated from Walsingham Academy in 1992 and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1996 from Virginia Military Institute. Mr. Singley now maintains an active role at RJS while serving as an associate broker. He has developed retail centers in James City County and has also worked with national and regional companies such as Oxford Properties, Prime Outlets, Starbucks, O’Reilly’s, TGI Fridays, Chesapeake Bank, Verizon Wireless, lululemon, and Mellow Mushroom. Mr. Singley is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (“ICSC”), a Certified Commercial Investment Member (“CCIM”) Designee and serves on the Board of Equalization for James City County.

Joseph P. Singley
AGENT
Mr. Singley’s youngest son, Joseph P. Singley, joined the firm in 2005. He manages and leases numerous properties including the Triangle Building on the corner of Prince George and Armistead Streets for the City of Williamsburg and the Truist Building on Courthouse Street in New Town for the Casey family along with retail centers RJS has developed. Mr. Singley specializes in the selling and leasing of office buildings.
